Now that one of my all time favorite movies, "Vacation",  has a new reboot which chronicles a man wanting to redo the same vacation he did with his family 30 years ago, it got me thinking.  I travel constantly both for work and for fun, and now that I have my own child I find myself taking her not only to new and exciting places, but also to places that were the most special and nostalgic from my childhood. Eating in the same restaurants ( many of which are still there, amazingly ), walking the same streets, exploring the same sights that I have such fun memories of doing with my parents when I was young and they wind up being some ofthe most enriching (and funny, and sometimes harrowing) journeys I've ever had.
