South Africa’s subtropical location ensures warmer conditions most of the year, with plenty of sunshine nearly year-round primarily in coastal areas, though rainfall and cooler temps prevail in various regions during the winter especially inland.  NB to all of you Northern Hemisphere dwellers, South Africa’s seasons are the opposite- with winter June – August, spring September to November, summer December to February and fall March to May
