Geography:  This lengthy land is diverse, with its primary regions including the northern subtropical forests, slopes of the Andes in the west, the chilly sub-Arctic Patagonian Plataeau far south and then the far more temperate region around Buenos Aires.

How's the weather? Argentina’s diverse landscape lends itself to varying climates.  The north can be quite hot in the summer with a drier winter, Buenos Aires and Mendoza experience mild summers and winters equally on average, while the southern region experiences mild summers but heavy, snowy winters.  The benefit of being so far south though during the southern hemisphere summer means extremely long daylight hours from November to February, but  then longer periods of darkness in winter from May to June.
